Glennagean Judge

Glennagean Judge, 69, passed away February 2, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. She was born July 17, 1943, in Missouri, to Joseph and Margaret (Atkins) Eckhart.

Glennagean was a nurse for various nursing homes in the Des Moines area for more than 40 years. Most recently, she was an LPN at Valley View Village. Glennagean enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

Glennagean is survived by her son, Kent Harper; daughters, Cheryl (Tex) Harper Dial and Holly (Becky) Harper-Johns; three grandchildren, Chantyl Harper, Ashley (Justin) Harper, and Alex Harper; four great-grandsons; her mother, Margaret Eckhart; her brothers: Dean (Rita) Eckhart, Paul (Lynn) Eckhart, and Jay (bobbie) Eckhart; as well as her sisters: Phyllis Willis, Martha (Lester) Reger, and Jennifer (Jerry) Althiser.

Visitation will be held from 12 to 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. A private family graveside service will be held at Berwick Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League or the American Cancer Society of Iowa, in loving memory of Glennagean.
