Florence Kling Smith, 94, passed away on January 31, 2013 in Tucson, AZ. She was born in Kellogg, IA on September 3, 1918 to Bertha (Brooks) and Lewis Henry Kling and worked as an attorney.
Services will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 3424 Forest Avenue in Des Moines, IA.

My aunt and I were good friends for a long time. She always treated me well and I too will miss her. I can remember going to her home in Des Moines for many Sunday dinners when I was in training at St Lukes hospital and she was always willing to sit and talk with me about my dreams as well as problems. I was thrilled to get down to see her when I was visiting Dad in Mesa. We had a wonderful visit and yes, I do remember her flowers and yard. Lovely. She had a wonderful life and will be missed. My wife and I send our condolences. God Bless.
