Lillian Beener, 92, passed away at her home, surrounded by her family, on January 28, 2013. She was born March 28, 1920, in Story County.
Lillian is survived by her daughter, Dixie Smith; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, and son-in-law.
Private family services will be held. Lillian will be laid to rest with her husband Freel at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery.

Dixie im sorry to hear of the loss of your mother.she was a lady always. we use to make her blush once in a while. and than laugh at her for blushing i always enjoyed it when we were with her
