I was only a facebook friend, but could feel her goodness. Everytime I would see her name or one of her posts, I would say "Oh, there's Essie! I love her!"
I am so very sad. My heart goes out to you, her family.

Today I am all full of sorrow because of the loss of our friend Essie. I never met her in person but to me she was a true friend. She always helped those in need especially when it came to the loss of someones pet. Life is so precious and when someone is taken away from us so suddenly it breaks our hearts. I hope you find comfort in knowing Essie was loved and will always be remembered.

I have never had the pleasure of meeting Essie in person, nor have I had the privilege of hearing her wonderful laughter that I have heard others talk about, but I've experienced her smile which could light up the darkest night, I've chuckled at her quick wit, and I've felt the comfort that her words of encouragement gave me when I was lost in distress and crying out for help. As I read the condolences and posts that express just how deeply she impacted the lives of others, I realize that Essie's life and her mission on this earth was to love, comfort, and advocate for God's beings who could not speak up for themselves. I know she heard the words "Job well done!" when she walked through the Pearly Gates. Soar through the Heavens, my dear friend. You earned your wings a long time ago. I will love you and miss you. Your memory will forever remain in my heart.
Jack and Deb-- I know that your hearts are heavy and your feelings of loss is greater than any one of us can feel or express. You are in my prayers. Take slow, deep breaths, close your eyes..you will feel the warmth of her love surround you.

Dear Jack and Deb, My heart breaks with you. I started petseverlasting seven yrs ago and quickly met Essie. She worked with me to help so many through their pet loss. Her wisdom, compassion and love for both people and pets was magical.
I am comforted only in the thought that she is with her dear ones and that all of our pet Angels have a special friend in heaven now.
May God bless you and help you through this very sad and sudden loss.
I and so many others will never forget this very special Earth Angel who has now earned her wings.

I'm so sorry to hear about Essie. Sending my sympathies and much love to her family and friends. I came to know Essie through the Animal Love and Loss Network where we became instant friends. Although I never met her in person I know she was a very special young woman who loved her animals and spoke up for all those other animals unable to speak for themselves. The world has lost a beautiful soul, but I know she had the grandest greeting when all her fur babies met her in Heaven. RIP dear Essie. ? I'm mourning along with her family and pray for them to be strong during this most difficult time. As Essie would say, BIG HUGGERS!

This Lady WAS and now IS still an Angel. In school she was one who would have the words of comfort. She helped me though much. As she grew into a greater lady she has helped so many more. I will miss you and your sweet words of wisdom. GOD BLESS YOU.

I met Essie when we volunteered for the pet loss support website Petseverlating. Essie helped so many people who were grieving for their lost beloved pets. She was fierce, as you all know, in her fight for the rights of animals. She touched so many people in her all-too-short life. May she rest in peace with the angels...they surely have recognized one of their own. My condolences to you Jack and to the rest of Essie's family.
