We are so sorry for your loss! Our prayers are with you all and may God help you to find peace. We only lived a block from each other while we were young and our families grew up together. Your mom was like our second mother to help guide us, like our mother did you. She will be missed by everyone. We will keep all of you in our prayers.

I was very sorry to hear of Nancy's passing. Nancy has helped me with AgVision since 1998. I finally got to meet her in 2006. She was always my saving grace on the other end of the phone. My prayers are with all of you.

To all you kids of Nancy's:
WoW ! You guys had one first-class mom! I don't know what she was like at home, and I suppose we always see the good side of folks at "work", but she was the very best rep (EVER!) to talk with on the telephone........ and that's the truth!
I first met her way back in '84 when our grain Co-op decided to get a computer and back then, she was hooked up w/the IGFA outfit over by the Living History Farms nearby on top of the hill. God, I used to drive out there on my motorcycle and even stopped there one night to "crash" on my way back from Montana..... those were the days. I always thought to myself, " Nancy's a lot older than these other gals, but God, she knows computers!" Especially that god-forsaken CAT III unit we had! How many times she helped a dumb fool like me, I'll never know but she's earned a lot of jewels in her crown for having the patience to answer that phone knowing idiots like me were on the other end and not calling just to wish her a nice day!
I'll share you a little secret; I wrote a (rough) manuscript of a mountaineering climb I did in Glacer Nat'l Park and somehow or other, she found out about it and wanted to read the damned thing....... so like a fool I mailed it to her. I think it was a bit more than she anticipated, but she read the whole thing and complimented me on it....... what a trooper! She could do that to us over here....... just make you feel like you were worth somebody's trouble and get a rise out of it too. The other gals at AgVision are good, and if I have learned anything after this, it's to cut them some slack and tell them "thanks" more often. What a gang!
I cannot ever imagine in my mind her getting mad, but I'll bet you guys can! Anyway, she had the nicest voice on the phone and solved your problem(s) without talking "down" to you..... she was like the Grandmother I never had...........
Well, I see everyone else is telling you they are sorry, and I sure enough am too. But you should be sorry for us too; you kids have had her longer than us. . Sure, we've got to let her go, but I am a pretty selfish guy and would've liked her to hang around at least 'til I got fired from this place........ not much chance of that though............been here so damned long, they've got me listed as "office furniture" ! ha!
Well, as Will Rogers wrote in Charlie's foreword, "the damned roof must be leakin' in this ol shack 'cause the paper's all wet".
Thank you Nancy for passing thru my life..... a very special lady who "cracked" this stone-cold heart.......scope out some mountains for me to climb 'til I get there.......

Our hearts are breaking for all of you. She was such a special, thoughtful person, always thinking of others. She loved her Aunt Kathryn and cousins in Missouri and we loved her so much. We enjoyed her visits as she was passing through our area on her way to visit family in Kansas City. She had such a positive attitude through her illness, you would have never have known anything was was wrong. May it comfort you to know that she has gone home and is smiling down on all of you with a new body free of pain. We will remember her and miss her always. Our prayers are with all of you.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy. I new your mother through AgVision. She was very good at her job and over the years of my employment with Farmers Coop in Fort Atkinson, IA and presently with Spilville Mill in Spillville, IA her assistance with questions was tremendous. One thing I remember and laugh about was her saying she always said when I had a question or told her about a problem I had she would say "Oh My!". I knew she would come up with an solution.
