Edward Glaser

Edward Glaser, 77, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. He was born June 12, 1935, in Schuyler, Nebraska, son of Edward and Josephine Glaser.

Edward enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. Above all, he cherished moments spent with his family. Edward always took the opportunity to help another and was a true definition of a man.

Edward is survived by his grandchildren, Mindy (Jason) McNew and Dustin (Kelsey) Gordinier; great-grandson, Nathan McNew; and his sister, Josephine Bauer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice; daughter, Brenda Gordinier; son, Edward Glaser; and his beloved dog, Teddy Bear.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, January 21, 2013, at Mineral Ridge Cemetery in Boone, Iowa.
