Arlene Youde

Arlene V. Youde, 84, died from complications due to a stroke, November 13, 2006 at her home in Polk City, Iowa where she has lived since 1983. She was born November 22, 1921 to Edna and John Thomsen in Royal, Iowa.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2006 at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Polk City. Visitation will be one before the service at the church.
Interment will be at 1p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2006 at Willow Creek Cemetery in Royal, Iowa.
Arlene is survived by her daughters, Glenda “Jeani” Plautz, and Gloria Youde, her sons, Bruce (Marlene) Youde, Burdell (Vilma) Youde and Lee Youde, 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, her sister, Phyllis Rannals, her brother, Ronald (Melinda) Thomsen and sisters-in-law, Vernita Youde and Carol Willment. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen and a daughter and three sons.
The family has entrusted Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens with arrangements.
