Jerald Mills

Jerald Mills, 79, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at the Parkridge Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Jerald was born December 11, 1933, in Mingo, Iowa, to Monty and Nan Mills. He resided near Runnells for most of his life and retired from the U.S. Postal Service after many years. Jerald was a member of Berean Assembly of God.

Jerald is survived by his wife, Janice; children, Diane (Doug) Carroll, James (Lisa) Mills, Linda McGrew and, and Karen Mills; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Dale Mills; and sister, Nancy Martinez.

Jerald was preceded in death by his parents, Monty and Nan Mills; His brothers Ferd and Delbert Mills; sisters, Dorthy Altes and Bonnie Hunnell; and great-grandson, Mason Carroll.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 19, 2013, at Berean Assembly of God, 5299 E. University Avenue in Pleasant Hill, followed by burial at Lowman Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, at the church.
