Robert Ewing Henderson was born on September 12, 1961 in Des Moines to Barbara (Ewing) and Orville Henderson. He passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center at the age of 51. Robert was educated in the Des Moines Public School System. He enjoyed watching sports, especially football, and hanging out with his friends.
Robert is survived by his brother, Orville Henderson, Jr., his children, Nichelle Scott and Donte Scott; two grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles and other extended family members.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Jean Henderson and his father, Orville Henderson, Sr.

Dad I love and miss you so very much. I remember when we went on a drive and celebrated our birthdays together yours being 09/12 and mines is 09/13. We had a great time. Without you I wouldn't be here to receive all the blessings in which I have. I will always love and respect you for that. I know your in heaven reunited with grandma and grandpa.
