Jeanne A. Kruse, 81, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.
Jeanne was born August 25, 1931, in Hedrick, Iowa, to Ivan and Edythe Windenburg. She retired from the City of Des Moines Fire Prevention Bureau in 1993, after 23 years of service.
Jeanne is survived by her sons, Craig (Annette) Kruse and Michael (Marjorie) Kruse; ten grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Marthajane (Jim) Merryfield. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roland Kruse; son, Bryan; and great-granddaughter, Shelby.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Burial will follow at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, at Campton Cemetery in Lamont, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Valley View Village Building Fund.

So very sorry to hear you lost your mother Craig, We lost DeAnn's dad Jan 1 2013. Our world has been turned upside down & inside out. There is NO WORDS to make this any better or easyer but understand your pain of your loss. You & your family are certainly in our thoughts & Prayers.
