Pearl "Peggy" McCoy

Pearl “Peggy” M. McCoy, 84, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at Regency Care Center in Norwalk.

Peggy retired from Valley View Village after 30 years of service as supervisor of the laundry center. Peggy loved spending time with her family and friends.

Peggy is survived by her siblings, Kay Ogle, James Cook, Ruth Yoder, and Thomas Cook; step-children, Pat Brinkema, Harold McCoy, Jr., Dick, and Kay; three step-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Harold McCoy; and her brothers, Ernie and Raymond Cook.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, January 14, 2013, at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Monday, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Iowa Hospice, 5650 NW Johnston Drive, Johnston, Iowa 50131.
