Delores Wiley

Delores Virginia Wiley passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center. Delores was born on April 25, 1926, to Eloise and George Shelton in Liberty Township, Clarke County, Iowa.

She graduated from Chariton High School in 1943. Delores loved the casinos and traveling.

Delores is survived by her daughters, Sharon Chatham and Donna (Norman) Daughenbaugh; her son, James (Marcia) Curtis; her step-children, Kenneth Wiley, Jr., and Linda (Stan) Moan; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Marge Thomas; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kenneth, and her brother, Lyle Shelton.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, January 11, 2013, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Burial will follow the service at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, January 10, at the funeral home.
