Jacqueline L. Strait, 86, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013 at Taylor House Hospice. Per her request, her body has been cremated and no services are planned.
Jacqueline was born December 25, 1926 in Churdan, Iowa to Dale and Catherine Means and was Miss Iowa in 1946.
Jacqueline is survived by her son, Greg (JoAnn) Strait; grandson, Bryan Strait of Arizona; and her great-grandchildren, Carigan and Ethan of Arizona.

Jackie was a very special lady and I am so glad I had the privilege to spend many memories with her while Bryan and I were still Iowa. She will be missed but her memory will always be apart of my heart. Sending much needed love and hugs! Always, Karlee
