Rod, Kellie and Joel: My heart breaks for your loss. I only knew Emily through the glowing reports of her father as we worked together all those years. I remember how proud he was of each and every great accomplishment she had throughout her highschool, college and working career. Dear Rod, Kellie and Joel,
One of the great joys of being an educator is getting to know so many children and their parents. I have so many precious memories of your family as your children grew up at Western Hills! I am brokenhearted to hear of this tragedy. Emily will always be a beautiful memory for me of all that is good when the love of family surrounds and supports their children. That goodness has spilled out onto so many people. What a precious gift! My prayers are with all of you!
