Emily,
I feel honored to have had the opportunity to get to know you and work with you at CoBank. When I moved out there last summer, you immediately reached out and made me feel welcome - even inviting the new kid to join everyone on the Pedal Hopper! Your spirit and outlook on life truly rubbed off on anyone you were around.
Rest In Peace Emily Weikert.

Thou has taken account of my wanderings; put my tears in Thy bottle; are they not in Thy book?
-Psalm 56:8
God is so great that he takes notice even of our individual tears and saves them as jewels!
Our tears will be turned into pearls, precious gems for God and they are posted in His book of remembrance, for He does not forget our heartaches.

Emily has touched the lives of people all over the world. As her study abroad adviser to Wales, I had the opportunity to meet with Emily on many occasions. Her excitement to learn about other cultures is just a small piece of joy she spread around the world.

Dear Weikert Family & Friends,
I don't have the words to express my deepest condolences. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Weikert for sharing your beautiful daughter with all of us. I want you to know that I got the pleasure to meet Emily in the CIS Group at CoBank; I spent time with her while training her and got the opportunity to really know her. She was the most amaizing person I have ever met. She was kind, funny, very intelligent and so friendly. Emily always had a kind word for everyone, she never compliant about anything or anyone. She always had a smile on her beautiful face. I will never forget her, I feel as if I have lost one of my own children. My fondest memory of her is that she refered to our company holiday party as Cobank's prom to which we were planing to go once again. Emily you will be there with all of us in spirit. God has gain a beautiful angel. May you rest in peace sweet Emily.

To the family of Emily,
My condolences to you. I recruited Emily to CoBank out of college. I remember when she accepted the job, her only hesitation was leaving her family in Iowa. I know you all meant the world to her. She reported to me for about a year while in the credit rotation program. I have so many fond memories of her. Mostly that she was a star. The managers at CoBank all wanted her in their departments. She was kind, intelligent, hard-working, and selfless. All great attributes of a well-raised person. I'm a better person for having known and spent time with Emily. God bless you all.
