I worked with Neil at GAB. He was a good man with a strong sense of right and wrong. He always encouraged others to be and do their best. He leaves a void hard to fill. My thoughts and prayers to Pat and family.

To Neil's wife and family,
I worked with Neil as part of the Underground Storage Tank Section of DNR for many years. Neil was always a pleasure to work with and he was always patient and kind in every situation. He was a good man and he will be missed by many. God bless all of you and my deepest sympathy.

I don't have the words to express all I would like. Neil was a very special person, a true gentleman. He made GAB/IUSTP and I feel privilege to have worked with & learn from him and be able to call him a friend. There is a great void without him and he is certainly missed, not just by me but many others he worked with through the years. God Bless you Pat, my prayers are with you and your family.

My thoughts go out to Neil's family and friends. I worked with Neil for many years in the tank program. Never did I end a conversation without saying to myself what a fine and honorable fellow this gentleman is. Neil was a teacher although he would not acknowledge it. He reminded me of the value of humility, the necessity of good humor and exemplified grace above conflict.

Truly enjoyed relationship that I had with Neil. He was always fair and consistent and even if we disagreed initially, we would eventually find common ground. Many work conversations would end talking about personal things instead of work. Will miss Neil. Will keep your family in my prayers.
