Service Details
Rose Reasoner, 72, died Thursday, December 27, 2012, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. A funeral service will be 10 a.m., Friday, January 4, 2013, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, with burial following at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, January 3, at the funeral home.
Rose was born August 4, 1940, in Nebraska, to Faith and William Carey. She grew up in Adel, Iowa, and graduated from there. She worked as a night auditor for Holiday Inn. Rose loved flowers, watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, watching sports, playing bingo, and most of all talking to people.
Rose is survived by her children, Rick Wilcox, Steve Wilcox, Donna Reasoner; sisters, Lyda Scott, Lola Boe, Lois Olson, Alice Kuehl; brother, Harold Carey; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be directed by the family.

I can't believe you are gone, I try to remember the good times and some of the hurt goes away. The truth is I will miss you each and every day. I love you grandma, and I know you are up in heaven now watching over me and the rest of the family. Rest in peace, and just know that we are all thinking of you.
