Kevin Patrick Douglas, 56, died Monday, December 24, 2012. A visitation will be held 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, December 28, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.
Kevin was born September 4, 1956, in Des Moines.
Kevin is survived by his children, Jonathan and Katherine; grandchild, Domanic; mother, Sally; brother, Kurt (Mona) Douglas; sister, Kim (Tim) Blakeman; and five nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be directed by the family.

Kevin, we go way back...School, the ol Bar Days and recently seeing you at the Rivas Compound...You are a Stand Up Guy, Great Protector and always made me Laugh...My Hubby, Wilber will miss the Card Games..you brought lots of Joy to lots of people and will be greatly missed....Sally and Kids, my condolences to you All....You can Rest Now Kevin. I am so sad to see you go but so glad you are out of pain.
I will remember the good days growing up when you and my big brother Bob were the best of friends and I always wanted to hang out with you guys.
I'll remember how proud you were of your Mom & Grandmas spaghetti sauce and used to tell me no one could make it like them and how the ingredients were a secret.
I'll remember when Bob passed you were one of the first ones there to console us.
God speed to you Kevin. Someday we'll all be together again.
