Anthony "T.J." Gardner

Anthony “TJ” Gardner, 26, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012. He was born January 6, 1986, in Des Moines.

TJ lived a very full life in a short period of time. He loved all of his kids and wanted the best for his family and friends. TJ did everything he was big enough to do, and he had a very big soul. He always had a big beautiful smile on his face which made everyone else smile. TJ had a great sense of humor and enjoyed music, cooking, and spending time with his family.

TJ is survived by his father, Anthony Bruce; mother, Rameetta Gardner; siblings, DesaRay, Stephon, Tyrod Tré, and Ar’reon; children, Anthony, Jr., Ar’Shan, Antoniya, Ja’Quay, Anyia, Amoni, Gavin, Thailand, Nyleah, Amon, Jaliyah, and Cartier; nieces and nephews, Damairs, I’yonna, Davion, De’Lane, Timmyah, Camron, Tailiyah, and Tyianna; and many other extended relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 31, 2012, at Revival Center Church of God in Christ, 3804 E. 29th, followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, at the church.
