Arlene Negrete

Arlene Negrete, 75, passed away Monday, December 24, 2012, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.

Arlene was born February 15, 1937, to Bernard and Mary Anderson in Madrid, Iowa. She married Charles Negrete in 1957. Arlene retired from the Children’s Rehabilitation Center in Johnston after 20 years of service.

Arlene is survived by her daughter, Deb (John) Barach; son, Charlie Negrete; grandchildren, Ana, John Jr., Michael and David; seven great-grandchildren; and her sister, Francie Anderson. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jane Larson; and her beloved husband, Charlie.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, December 31, 2012, at Visitation Catholic Church, 1271 E. 9th, followed by burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from one hour prior to the service Monday, at the church.
