Karla Wilson

Karla Dee Wilson, 66, of Des Moines, passed away on December 21, 2012, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be held at Christian Life Assembly, 9001 Fleur Drive, on Thursday, December 27, 2012, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at Christian Life Assembly.

Karla was born on October 25, 1946, in Des Moines, to Jack and Evelyn Kimball. She worked for the State of Iowa as an auditor. She loved water sports, cooking, and camping. Most of all she loved being involved with her family and her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; daughters Cathie Hayek, Deborah Clark, stepdaughter Sandy Nash, and stepson Scott Wilson; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
