Kimberly Johnston

Kimberly Kae Johnston, 56, passed away at Southern Hill Special Care on Tuesday, December 18, 2012. Kim was born on August 17, 1956, in Des Moines, to Dorothy and James Utterback. She worked as a Medical Supply Tech for Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Kim enjoyed bowling and softball and was an avid Vikings fan.

Kim is survived by her children, Krystle (Scott Fowler) Johnston and Ken Johnston; siblings, T.J. Utterback, Jeff Utterback, and Lisa (Victor) Tate; grandchildren, Summer Fowler and Max Fowler; loving father to her children, Kevin Johnston; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy Utterback and James (Gert) Utterback.

All services will be held at Friday, December 21, 2012, at Eastside Church of the Nazarene, 1451 East 25th Street. There will be a visitation from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Altoona Cemetery following the funeral service.
