Leo Kruger

Leo E. Kruger, 71, Des Moines, IA went to be with His Lord and Savior on December 15, 2012. Funeral Services will be held at Commerce Community Church, 4007 High Street, West Des Moines, IA, at 11 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, December 19, 2012. Burial will follow the service at the Norwalk Cemetery.

Leo Kruger was the son of Everett Kruger and Anna E. Kruger. He was born on September 17, 1941, in Triplett, MO. On May 20, 1961, he married Patricia Jones. They made their home in Des Moines, IA.

Leo is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patricia Kruger; children, Everett Kruger, John Kruger (Tammy), and Alisa Montelongo; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Bertha (Lawrence) Moore, Jeanette Robbins, Lois Ann Copple, and Carol Crouse, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Anna E. Kruger.

Leo and Patricia pastored the Harvest Time Tabernacle for 5 years in Des Moines. He will be remembered for his love of music, singing, and witnessing the Word of the Lord to all he met.
