Thomas Plummer

Thomas Plummer, 78, passed away Monday, December 3, 2012, at Taylor House Hospice.

Tom was born March 27, 1934, in Des Moines, to Benjamin and Mildred (Porter) Plummer. He retired from Wright Litho and was a member of the Printer’s Union. Tom enjoyed horse racing, photography, hockey, and was an avid Cubs fan.

Tom is survived by his sister, Karen (Jim) Smith; daughters, Lea Ann (Phil) Gale and Jody (Larry) Stonehocker; and his grandsons, Micklus Noble and Mitchell Blanchard.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, December 7, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, Friday, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue League or Iowa Health Hospice.
