Donald Larsen

Donald Wayne Larsen, 79, was born March 16, 1933, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the son of Arthur and Frances (Hamlin) Larsen. He passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at Altoona Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Donald was a man of many talents and a gifted salesman. He enjoyed the outdoors and gaming. Above all else, Donald was a dedicated family man.

Donald is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Denise Larsen; children, Michael (Lisa) Larsen, Marilyn (Jeff) Vastine, Karen (Stan) Reinemund, and Steven Larsen; grandchildren, David Larsen, Kristina Larsen, Rachel Vastine, Jason (Dianna) Vastine, John Reinemund, and Elizabeth Reinemund; brothers, Dick (Charlene) Larsen and Art (Sharon) Larsen; sisters, Anna Lee Atkinson, Sally Frazier, and Sue (Tom) Altermat; numerous nieces and nephews; other loving relatives; and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy and David Larsen, sister, Mary Lou Burbridge, and his parents.
