Carolyn Mote

Carolyn S. Mote, 81, passed into glory November 25, 2012. She was born to Elmer & Irene Robson on November 2, 1931, in Newton, Iowa. One of four children, she adored her siblings -- identical twin Marilyn Wickes, older sister June Coffin, and older brother Jimmy Robson. Always with her beloved Hubert, she enjoyed camping and fishing in Colorado.

The stunning mountains, streams, and flowers provided her with years of happiness and peace. She loved all types of music, and was so excited when she saw the Radio City Rockettes in NYC and Moulin Rogue in Paris. She made great homemade fudge. Carolyn was employed at Arizona State University for many years.

She loved her Lord & Savior and was interested in every aspect of her family’s and friends’ lives. She was very proud of her children's and grandchildren’s accomplishments.

Carolyn is survived by husband Hubert of 59 years; daughters Jill (David) Smith and Julie (Paul) Murphy; four grandsons; three granddaughters;, and one great-grandson. Carolyn is traveling back to Iowa from Arizona for burial at Masonic Cemetery in Des Moines.
