Pamela Conn

Pamela Sue Conn, 54, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2012.

Pam was born on September 13, 1958, in Des Moines, to Ruth (Higgins) and Charles Earl Allbee. She was a lifelong resident of Des Moines. She worked at Lowes for nine years and most recently as Operations Supervisor at J.B. Hunt for the past five years. She was a member of Dean Avenue Church of Christ. Pam loved bringing new life to old houses, spending time with her family, friends and her dog, Max.

Pam is survived by her sons, Kenneth Conn, Chris (Dianne) Conn, and Ron (Sandy) Conn; her lifelong friend, Bob Conn; her special friends, Darrell Bryant and Molly Schug; three brothers, Don (Bev) Allbee, Gene Allbee, and Bill (Sheila) Allbee; grandchildren, Bobby, Rachelle (Jeremy), Kelly, Brittany, Jason, Justin, Kathline, Christopher II, Meghan, and Stacia; and great-grandchildren, Chloe, James, and Michael. She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, one sister, and one brother-in-law.

All services will be at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, November 23, 2012. Funeral will be Saturday, November 24, at 2:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
