LaDonna Walker, 67, passed away November 20, 2012, at the Bright Kavanagh House.
She was born January 6, 1945, in Marne, Iowa, to Violet and Maurice Pelzer.
LaDonna was an avid member of the British Car Club, Gideon’s International, and a founding member of Iowa Mini Owners. She also enjoyed delivering for Meals on Wheels for many years. She worked along side her husband for 39 years as his secretary, bookkeeper, and best friend at British Motors which the family owns and operates.
She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Dave; daughters, Lynette Walker and Denise (Tim) Morris; grandchildren, Riley and Morgan Morris; and sisters, Marlis (Donald) Bornholdt and Verdell (Jerry) Templeman. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Monday, November 26, 2012, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will occur Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be directed toward Hospice of Central Iowa.

Dave & Family,
Words can't capture my appreciation for the support LaDonna provided me over the years. Sharing time with y'all from the Mayor's bike ride, Mini Meets, and even the wonderful graduation party are but a few examples of LaDonna's caring nature. I will miss her.
My thoughts and prayers will be with y'all during this difficult time.

LaDonna will be missed by many people. She was always such a kind person, never saying a bad word about anyone and always with a smile on her face. She was always happy to see me and talk with me and made me feel welcome into her life and her hobbies. I will very much miss LaDonna but will always remember her true kindness towards me and everyone around her.
