Service Details
Dorothy Otterbach, 90, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2012, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. Dorothy was born on February 19, 1922, in Des Moines, to Edna F. (Mueller) and James Elmer Neal. She was a member of Experience Church. She liked playing cards and loved spending time with her family.
Dorothy is survived by her brother, Jack Neal (Joanne); daughter, Jan Bote; daughter-in-love, Carol Dingeman; granddaughters, Christine Adair (David) and Carmen Crowell (Matthew); and great-grandchildren, Dallas and Melissa Adair, and Nicholas, Ryan, and Camren Crowell.
All services will be held at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, November 23, 2012. Funeral will be 11 a.m., Saturday, November 24. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery.

We are so sorry to hear of Dorothy's passing. She was such a wonderful, godly woman and a blessing to all of the people at Karen Acres Health Care Center and to my family. We will miss her, but look forward for a great reunion in Heaven one day.

I never knew your mother except to see her in church. What a wonderful heritage she left with Jan and family. My love goes out to all of you. Our loss is Heaven's gain. I know you will rejoice again in Heaven with her.

Our love and prayers are with your whole family! Dorothy went to church with Tom's grandmother, Isabel Strauser, at the old Calvary on Penn Ave. We pray that God will wrap His arms of love around you and comfort in the fact that you KNOW you will see her again, one day, in Heaven.If we were in the States we would sure try to attend her memorial service!
