Verna Musselman

Verna Musselman, 89, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2012, at Taylor House Hospice. She was born November 7, 1923, in Russell, Iowa, to Edna and Charles Worthington.

Verna was employed as The Biscuit Maker at Hardees on Army Post Road for over 46 years. She worked there until she was 85 years old. She loved to cook and tend to her flowers and garden. Everybody called her Grandma.

Verna is survived by her children, Gary Linn (Norma), Janet Harmon (Richard), and Trina Kirkendall; grandchildren, Dawn Linn (Scott), Gary Allen Linn (Sharon), Bo Linn (Shawna), David Blackford, and Brittanya Freeborn (Chad); great-grandchildren, Heather, Brandon, Halla, Dottie, Shelby, Cheyenne, Michael, Reisha, Lexie, Megan, Dustin, Celsey, Chloe, Ethan, Kaylee Jo, Dillon, Rylie, and Zander; great-great-grandchildren, Lorenzo and Aaliyah; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs, Daisy and Ryder.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; sisters, Leona, DeLoris, Betty, Evelyn, Thelma, Maxine; and brother, Charles.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
