Aleena Coe

Aleena Marie Coe passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, surrounded by her loving family.

Aleena was born September 23, 2009, in Des Moines. She was a vibrant and beautiful little girl who loved to dance and sing. Aleena was an avid Justin Bieber fan, and never missed “So You Think You Can Dance.” On her second birthday, she decided she should have two of everything, because she was two. She also loved princess stickers, slushies from QT, and walking her dog.

Aleena is survived by her mommy and daddy, Sarah Kuyrkendall and Zachary Coe; big sister, Aireanna; her grandparents; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandpa, Gary D. Coe.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., Friday, November 9, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Sunday, November 11, 2012, at the funeral home.
