JoDee Rogers

JoDee Rogers, 58, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 after a courageous three month battle with lung cancer. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Gregg; daughter, Jenny (Clint) Robinson; son, Chris (Stephanie) Rogers; son, Matt (Josie) Schwartz; mother, Ruth Reano; brothers, Mark and Brad Reano; and seven grandchildren.

JoDee was born on February 13, 1954 to Ruth (Bruns) and Richard Reano. She graduated from East High School in 1972. JoDee was a busy homemaker and enjoyed gardening and golfing. She devoted herself to spending time with her grandchildren and being the most amazing Nana to Morgan, Hayden, Hannah, Kaylen, Cannon, Kinnick and Ryder.

JoDee was very proud of her work serving as a member of the Urbandale Planning and Zoning Commission. She was also very committed to her position on the board for The First Tee Program of Greater Des Moines and volunteered many hours to educate and coach the program’s Nine Core Values using the game of golf.

JoDee was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Joseph; brother, Michael Reano; sister, Mary Lee Reano; and her father, Richard Reano.

Services will be held at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines on Saturday, November 10 at 10:00 a.m.; with visitation the night before from 5 to 8 p.m.
