Terry Gomez, 57, took her journey home to be with her heavenly father on November 3, 2012.
Terry is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Ben; daughter, Stephaine; son, Ben; grandchildren, Tegan and Lizzi; sister, Dody Johnson; and numerous other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Barb Johnson.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, at All Saints Catholic Church, 650 N.E. 52nd Avenue, followed by burial at Lincoln Cemetery in Alleman, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

Terry was the most loving and caring 'mother' to so many kids in her daycare - Matt was one of them. Thank you for taking care of our little Angel when he was little. May the Angels now take care of you and your family during this difficult time. Remembering your smile and laughter Terry.....see you again some day.

Terry, it's very sad to see you leave us so early, u were like a 2nd mother as a child and very giving and kind and I continue to have a best friend in Ben because our families are so close I will miss you, and I know you are in a good place watching over friends in family now...love Alex

I'm so happy that the last words i said to you were i love and i will see you soon. Our relationship grew strong over the years and to not be able to pick up the phone and call you is t he hardest part. I now know that i can talk to you anytime. I love you and miss you so much.

Aunt Terry- where do I start? You are an amazing women. You loved and cared for everyone around you. Not once did I ever see or hear you judge others; you would help anybody. Everytime since I was a young child till now, you have loved me the same; unconditionaly. Being in your presence was an honer; you listened and never judged. You always had a hug for me and we shared many laughs. Aunt Terry how blessed this family has been for you to be apart of our lives, Thankyou for sharing your love. You will be sincerely missed. Lots of hugs and prayers to Uncle Ben, Stephanie(Teagan) & Ben. I know all too well the pain death brings. Lean on one another, and you will get through this, your pain will always be there. But focus on the Joy and life lessons you all have From Aunt Terry. She will be missed immensly, a void no one else can fill.I take comfort in knowing she is at peace and that she now shares space with my mom. Love you guys.
