Edith Gamin

Edith Gamin, 87, died Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. A Visitation to honor her memory will be held from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. on Sunday November 4, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.

Edith was born February 18, 1925, in San Pedro, California, to Marie and Edwin Morey. She enjoyed the outdoors, where she liked to garden and fish. Edith was also excellent at crocheting.

Edith is survived by five of her six children, Mary Hardwick, Joseph (Sharon) McFadden, Rachel (Mike) Hall, James McFadden, and Ruth (John) Battazza; 15 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Edith was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond McFadden; her second husband, Ernie Gamin; and her son, William Mc Fadden.
