Kenneth Albert Fees, Sr., passed away Oct. 26, 2012. He was born July 4, 1930, to Susan & Victor Fees.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; son, Wayne; brother, Ralph; and sister, Arlene Carlson. He is survived by his son, Kenneth, Jr.; daughter, Stacy; grandchildren, Jessie, April, Kirsten, and Braydon; brothers, Robert and Gerald Fees and Roy Parker; and sisters, Jackie Cutting, Janet Leete, Dorothy King, and Ruth Marksbury.
Kenneth was a retired painter and a member of painters local 246. He lived in Des Moines most of his life, and will be missed by his family & friends. Special thanks to his niece Terri Charter for her care and compassion.
A graveside farewell will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at Pine Hill Cemetery.

Kenny was not related to me but was a part of my Family in everyway that counts .He was around me my whole life and i loved and will miss him everyday. He was one of the most kind and tenderhearted people i have ever known. He was not a selfish person but always putting everyone else first. My Sympathy to his neice that took such great care of him towards his final days!! I will cherish all the memories i have of him. If i know kenny he is up in heaven telling god some great stories!!
