Maxine Perry, 86, died Thursday, October 25, 2012, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. A funeral mass will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 29, 2012, at Christ the King Catholic Church, with burial following at Glendale Cemetery. A visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a vigil service at 7 p.m., Sunday, October 28, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.
Maxine was born September 29, 1926, in Des Moines, to Charles and Catherine Stumpf. She was a homemaker.
Maxine is survived by her children, Fred (Cindy) Perry, Sonia (Larry) Galetich, Sheryl (Dave) Mortimer, and Pamela (Don) Burkhead; sister, Frances Smith; ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Perry, daughter, Shirley Jean Snider, and one great grandson.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Mercy Hospice in Johnston.

Aunt Maxine is now dancing with our Mom and all our other wonderful relatives. Dear cousins you are so lucky to have had her in your lives for so many years. God bless you all.
