Anthony Golszanski

Anthony Golszanski, 91, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2012, at Southern Health Specialty Care in Osceola, Iowa.

Anthony was born October 7, 1921,in Des Moines, to Anthony and Frances Golszanski. He was a truck driver for many years. Anthony was a member of St. Joseph Parish and the Teamsters Union. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and working on cars.

Anthony is survived by his daughter, Toni Olney; grandchildren, Michael Lydic, his wife, Dawn, and their children, Taylor and Tallen; Robbie Lydic and his wife, Sara; Justin Olney, Joshua Olney, his wife, Megan, and their children, Avery, Emme, and Hadlee; Noah Olney and Nikki Olney; son-in-law, John Lydic; and his sister, Suzie. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty Jean; daughter, Sharon Lydic; grandson, Brett Lydic; and his sister, Frances Heles.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, October 26, 2012, with Mass of Christian Burial following at 7 p.m., Friday, at St. Joseph Parish, 3300 Easton Blvd.
