Service Details
Iron Steve Weatherly, Sr., passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, October 17, 2012. He was born September 30, 1937, and lived his entire life in Des Moines, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Weatherly, and is survived by his children, Deb (Pat), Kim, and Iron, Jr.; his grandchildren, Danyel (Kraig), Iron III (Amanda), and Robyn (Jeff); 9 great-grandchildren; seven sisters; one brother; and many additional friends and relatives.
Memorial services to honor his life will be on Saturday, October 27, 2012, at Sleepy Hollow Sports Park, 4501 Dean Avenue, Des Moines, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
