Jerry Conner

Jerry Conner, 62, passed away at his home Saturday, October 13, 2012.

Jerry was born April 13, 1950, in Des Moines. He was a self-employed carpenter. Jerry loved working and was very creative. His projects included working with solar panels, a wind generator, and building a helicopter. Jerry loved his dogs, Mykia, Wolfie, and Kaydo.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Jana; children, Chris (Kellie) Conner, Chad (Katina) Conner, and Cerise Conner; mother, LuElla Conner; brothers, John, James, and Don Conner; and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd, and his brothers, Mike and Floyd, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Jana Conner for distribution to various charities or Iowa Hospice.
