Service Details
Ralph Lee Dorothy, 47, passed away at his home Friday, October 12, 2012. He was born October 16, 1964, in Des Moines, to Ronald and Patty (Britt) Dorothy.
Ralph is survived by his children, Ronnie Overton, Dannielle Beebe, and Zacheri Beebe; father, Ronald Dorothy; siblings, Mark (Monica) Dorothy and Margie (Kevin Eason) Dorothy; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended relative and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patty.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Ralph has always had a special place in my heart. Great Friends before during and after. I look at your picture and see that great smile of yours. And I miss you already. Ralph loved my kids and they loved him. My mother adored him all she had to do was call and he would be right over to do what ever she needed. I now he is giving her a big hug and kiss for me. Thanks Ralph for all the great memories , love and laughter. My heart goes out to your family remember all the good times. RIP my friend.

Ralph has always been one of my favorite buddies. i just cant imagine norwoodville without him. i know he will be missed very much. i have so many funny memories of him. my thoughts and prayers are with the dorothy family i will always hold a place in my heart for you ralph. love ya

RIP Ralph. You have been such a fixture in so many lives and in the Ville too of course. You will be deeply missed and when you get to the gates I hope our friend Kim Butters is there to guide you home. May your children and family rejoice in the good memories of a well loved man.

Ralph was one of the people I've always been close with. He was always there when u needed him. Well u might have to track him down at times. But he was always willing to help.
We have been through a lot together both good and bad. But we always made it.
Ralph was not a material person. He didn't need much and was happy with what he had.
I could easily keep going on but I'm going to end here.
Ralph I love love ya thanks for everything. You have no idea how you have impacted many lives.
You will be missed for sure!

So full of stories. Ralphie could make me laugh for hours. Always quick to help someone in need and just as quick to put someone in their place. He was my friend and I'm gonna miss his laughter and the sparkle in his eyes when he smiled. Good bye bud! God speed! Ur lil' Firecracker
