Candace Farnum

Candace Farnum passed away at her home Tuesday, October 9, 2012.

She was born October 5, 1968, to Sandra Simerson. Candace attended school in Carlisle and Hartford. She married Earl “Guy” Farnum, Jr., and was the mother to Dustin Simerson, Harley Farnum, Ethan Farnum, and Alex Farnum, and a mother figure to many others. Candace was a loving, compassionate daughter, wife, mother, niece, and friend. She will be greatly missed.

She leaves behind her mother, Sandra Simerson of Hartford; son, Dustin Simerson of Hartford; husband, Guy Farnum, and sons, Harley and Alex Farnum all of Melcher-Dallas; aunt, Gloria Simerson of Hartford; grandparents, Bob and Lillian Stephenson of Douglas, Wyoming, and Darrell and Pat Hoffman of Pahrump, Nevada; parents-in-law, Earl and Naomi Farnum of Carlisle; and her grandparents-in-law, Jack and Sue Hesseltine of Texas. Candace was preceded in death by her grandfather, Roger Simerson; son, Ethan Farnum; grandson, Jayden Bryan; and her grandparents-in-law, Don and Mary Smith.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.
