My dearest T....
What can be said of a life can be seen in what is left when they pass. In this way you will see Reggie everyday... In the spunk and quick wit of little Kierra, in the warmth of Kyle, and in the gentle strength of your eldest, Kris. Sweetheart, God has left you a reflection of Reggie as a blessing to carry on what and who he was. And, to add to the blessing, Reggie is now whole and is seeing with real eyes what we on this side can scarcely imagine.... YOU WILL SEE HIM AGAIN! "and what a day of rejoicing that will be..." So... as the Lord tells us.. I weep with you in this present feeling of great loss, and we will feel that... (everytime we b b que or the game is on!) But, I also am here to remind you of the GREAT hope we have that once again has been fulfilled in Reggie! He stands whole in Eternity with our Savior!!! I love you guys so much! And you can say... "It is well with my soul"

To my brother Reggie, may God bless your soul and bring you into his kingdom in heaven because you truly are an angel my brother. Reggie was not just my friend he was truly my brother. Growing up together him, Sean Davis, and myself were Inseparable. We did everything together as if we were truly brothers. Reggie was one of the smartest guys I knew, he was brilliant! He was one of those people that never flaunted his brilliance but would encourage, and inspire you to obtain yours. I always looked up to him for that even though I am six months older then him. He was idol and he will always be that. To his kids I want to say that your dad was my hero a special kind of peson that you can be proud of. He was the smartest person I knew and i know he is proud of you guys! To his family, his wife, mother, sisters Rachel and Christie, my sympathy is with you. I knwo what you guys are going through having lost my sister last year. Put your faith in God and he will see you through. God bless and rest in peace my brother I love you my friend.

The Our Saviors Missionary Baptist Church family extends its deepest heartfelt condolences to the family of Brother Reggie Davis. Our prayers go out to his wife Tralanda and to his children, Kristopher, Kyle, Kierra and Brianna. 1st Thessalonians 4:13-18 says, Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lords word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words. Respectfully submitted, the Our Savviour's Baptist Church Family.

My deepest sympahy goes to the family of this good man. I've had the privilage of knowing his in-laws for over thirty years and know he will be sorely missed. He worked with me on several projects in spite of his illness he fought to the end. His humor and spirit never failed even while his health did. He was inspiring and jovial. God bless his family and give them strength through this trying time.

I'm so sad to hear of your loss. Reggie was one of the best people I ever had the pleasure of working with. I used to work for Midwestern interiors with Reggie and he taught me so much about drywall. He had such integrity and a wonderful sense of humor. He will be sadly missed. Our prayers are with you. Again, I'm so sorry.
