Floyd Vance Conner, Jr, 70, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012, at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. He was born October 14, 1941, in Des Moines to Floyd and Darlene Conner. Floyd had a passion for working with leather.
Floyd is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Jay) Knapp; grandchildren, Nikita (Taylor) Davis, Nikoli, Natalee, Nathen, and Nolen Knapp; great-grandchildren, Stella and Callaway; brothers, Jerry, John, and James; and best friend, Jim (Cindy) Magneson. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Michael and Terry Conner.
A visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, October 4, 2012, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines.
