I've never seen Jacob without a smile. He left too soon. God's plan for us is unknown. For us left, may Jacob's spirit carry us forward stronger than ever. Prays pouring your way. Rest in peace young man.

I was saddened to learn of Jacob's death. May you know the comfort and strength from those surrounding you, and may you cherish the time you had with him. I was privileged to work with Jacob when he was a sophomore in English class, and remember the joy he shared when talking about skateboarding. He was a fine young man and will be missed. Blessings to you during this difficult time.

Russ and Brenda, I am extremely shocked and sorrowful for your family's loss. I met your son several times on my properties when he was with Russ to cut trees. He was a hard working young man that loved life and his family. If there is anything I can do please let me know. My prayers are with you and may God comfort you at this time

Russ & family,
Where to begin and what to say? No words can bring you comfort at this time of tremendous grief. Only the "God of all comfort" (2 Cor 1:3,4) can get you through this tragedy. Please know that your family is in the prayers of many friends and family members and even those who don't know you as so many share your grief. Although I hadn't seen Jacob in sometime I will always remember what a cute kid he was and polite too. Perhaps I will get the privilege to get to know him in paradise and see his skateboarding skills. You're in my thoughts and prayers. Stay close to Jehovah now more than ever. Soon this sadness will be erased forever as Isaiah 65:17 promises.

Dear Russ & Jessica- We are all in shock, as you no doubt are as well. There is so much pain & suffering in this that words cannot convey the love & sympathy we wish to share with you! Although we cannot be there with you physically during this time, please know that you are in our thoughts & prayers! We will pray that Jehovah grant you the strength & comfort that is needed during such trying, critical times- hard to deal with. I know the dear friends that are there with you in DSM will do their best to show you the love & care that we all feel.
