I am so sorry for being so late to find out that Marian is now with the Lord. I worked with her at Share Health Plan - I trained her in. We developed a wonderful friendship - she would call from time to time and we exchanged birthday/Christmas cards. She will always have a special spot in my heart and memories. My deepest sympathy that she gone from this Earth and my apologies for the lateness of this post.

Marian was a lovely lady. I enjoyed visiting with her at Pulmonary Rehab, Iowa Lutheran Hospital.
We used the treadmills and while "walking our miles" we visited. She was very proud of her family. She always looked forward to spending overnight with the littleones.
With deepest sympathy,

I was fortunate to visit Marian within the past two weeks.
We enjoyed some nice conversation.
I have always thought so much of Marian. We first met in Amos Hiatt junior high and she was a close neighbor of ours. She lived on Buchanan and I lived on Penn Ave. She and her close friend, Lois Cohen would walk past our home on her way to junior high many years ago. We also attended the same church over the years. Will send a memorial in her name to our church.
She will be missed by many!!

I just received the shocking news that Marian had passed away. I spoke to her in May as I had sent her an invitation to Nick and Samantha's graduation party and they received cards ahead of the party. We had such a nice, long phone conversation and it felt just like it had years ago when we spoke to each other nearly every day! I loved Marian like she was one of my own family. Her twinkling eyes and hearty laugh always brought everyone great joy. She and Ruth, sisters and best life-time friends, a relationship that many can only dream of. Ruthie, as Marian called her, I am so sorry for your loss, I am sure that Marian will still try to tell you what she thinks you should do in your dreams! I just loved seeing the two of you and how you looked after each other.. Marian was a very special happy soul and I am a better person for knowing her.

Marian has been my favorite aunt for 55 years. Visits, the phone and hand written cards have kept us connected all of those years. I will miss her cheerful optimism and happy disposition. Rest in peace Marian. You were dearly loved and will be greatly missed. My heartfelt sympathy to the extended Nelson family.

My sympathy to all of Marion's family. I was Marion's across the hall neighbor for the past 4 1/2 yrs. She was so sweet & kind to me. My children all got to know her & adored her too. I will truely miss her, her smile, her laugh and our conversations. May she now rest free of pain & suffering. Helen K.
