Lawrence L. Croll

Lawrence L. Croll, 80, passed away Friday, September 7, 2012, at Karen Acres Healthcare Center.

Lawrence was born February 10, 1932, in Knoxville, Iowa, to Norris and Fern Croll. He retired in 1993 from Central Campus where he had been the building manager for 46 years.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville, Iowa. The family will greet friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.

He is survived by his loving wife, Alma; his son, Gary (Lorraine) Croll; his daughter-in-law, Annette Croll; his grandchildren, Brad Croll, Jackie Gonzalez, Jeff, Valerie, Brenton, and Whitney Croll, and Jason and Victoria Zielsdorf; his great-granddaughter, Eliza Croll; and many cousins and other loving family members. Lawrence was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon, his son, Joseph, and his parents, Norris and Fern Croll.
