Matthew Carhoff, one-day-old son of Nathan and Michaela Carhoff, became an angel on August 26, 2012, at Blank Children’s Hospital in Des Moines.
Matthew is survived by his daddy and mommy, Nathan and Michaela; his grandparents, Paul and Rita Hart, and Marilyn Carhoff; great-grandparents, John and Madonna Hart; aunts, Marae, Karen, and Tressa Hart; and his uncles, Alec Hart, Ben (Jenny) Carhoff, and Andrew (Tiffany) Carhoff. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Carhoff.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, August 30, 2012, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 31, 2012, at Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Catholic Church, 510 E. 1st Street in Ankeny.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Matthew.
