Terry L. Crowe, 63, of Des Moines passed away Saturday, August 18, at Mercy Medical Center.
Terry was born March 26, 1949, to Wendell and Marjorie Crowe of Ankeny.
He owned and operated Automated Technologies Institute as a trainer and consultant.
Terry is survived by his brother, Loren Del Crowe & wife Shelley; nieces, Cassi & Jenna; long-time friend Vicky Torode, mother of Terri Linn (Crowe) Matlock & husband Kirt; daughter, Sheri (Crowe) Lewis & husband Todd; son, Timothy Lee Crowe & wife Stacy; grandchildren, Evan & Thomas Matlock, Madison & Cole Lewis, Morgan & Hannah Crowe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wendell & Marjorie Crowe; and brother, Dennis Eldon Crowe.
Per his request, his body has been cremated, with memorial services pending for March of 2013.

Another year has passed but memories are fresh. Thanks to everyone for their prayers and thoughts. I can be found on a search or directly at my employer TLC Electronics in MN who has been very supportive of me.

I'm so sorry to hear about Terry! I haven't seen him since Grandma's funeral :( but he was the one who so graciously stepped up and helped Connie and I get around during our visit. I want to extend my deepest sympathy to Terry's family, and to Loren and all the friends. God bless and comfort each of you. I'd love to connect with you again. (I am Bill's daughter) Terry's first cousin. It's been a long time...

We were so sorry that we didn't know this sooner! His mother Marjorie was my cousin. (My mother is Shirley Inman Gifford.) I was looking for an address to tell Loren that John (Jack) Inman (his Uncle in Germany) died on July 1st. We are soooo sorry for your loss.

Condolences to his friends and family. Terry was a hell of a guy. Brilliant even in my opinion. The stuff this guy knew and the way he could explain it, he could turn a monkey into an electrician, and from time to time did just that.

Terry, I will never forget the time we were camping on the Turkey River and your Jeep got stuck in a creek. All we had to shovel us out were canoe paddles! You were always a good time and you'll be missed. My prayers are with your family.

I will miss seeing Terry's cheerful face & happy go lucky attitude. Anyone who knew him is very lucky and has a piece of a great man forever. I have only good memories of him & hold dear how he treated me like his own daughter growing up with Terri. To her & family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. May God shine his comforting love and understanding down on you during this great time of loss.

Terri & Family.. I am very sorry for the loss of your father. I met him back when Terri started at Saydel. Terry was a great guy.. and he always had great stories. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him & loved him. Thank you Terry for all the knowledge you helped me on with computers. RIP Terry.

We were just thinking of Terry the other day, the fun we used to have camping & canoeing on the Upper Iowa river. He was ALWAYS the last one off the water!! Our condolences to the family, may he rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear of Terry's passing, I had worked with Terry very often when he worked for DMACC he also taught some classes for me when I worked at Kirkwood in Cedar Rapids. I lost track of him when I retired a couple of years ago. Our prayers are with all of you.
