Rina C. Hayden, 96, passed away at Taylor House Hospice on Saturday, August 18, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her husband James. Rina is survived by her daughters, Jeanne Hayden and Joanne Frank (Jim); and her granddaughter, Glenna Frank (Brandon Kimble).
The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 23, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or Iowa Department for the Blind.

I am so glad that I was able to meet you. It was wonderful to have so many lunches with you and your Younkers Ladies. We always had a lot of laughs. I am so glad I got to spend time with Rina. She was one of the most genuine and caring people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting; and she has taught me so much about life. She used to say to me, "Now how would you know that if you had never met me?!". Thanks for teaching me all of the things I never knew Rina.
