Service Details
Steven L. Peterson passed away unexpectedly at Iowa Methodist Medical Center on Thursday, August 9, 2012. He was 41 years old. Steven leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Tammy; daughters, Brooke and Brittany; parents, Paul and Connie; and brothers, Chris and Ken. His mother, Constance Lea Herteen precedes him in death.
Steven was born on May 19, 1971, in Merced, California, but lived most of his life in the Des Moines area.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Steven through Hamilton’s Funeral Home.

We are so sorry to hear about Steve. Our prayers and wishes go out to Tammy, the girls and family. There will always be a void in your hearts, but want you to know that Steve always talked about his "girls" at work.

Dear Tammy,
We are deeply saddened by the death of Steve. You, Brooke and Brittani are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Steve will be missed by all who knew him. He was an expert on nearly everything he put his mind to. He was brave enough to think differently about things and bold enough to challenge the norms. We will miss his friendship and helpful advice-- from lawn-care tips to difficult computer programming issues.

We are so sorry to hear about Steve. What a shock. He was a great guy and will be missed very much. Karen worked with Steve at PFG. We will keep all of you in our prayers.
